how to remap all software on HDD

thegoogler

hello I recently got a new ssd boot drive to fix an issue and now can't use any of the software which I need to use, I don't want to have to uninstall and reinstall and log in and do all that stuff which would create a week or two on top of the week I waited already but does anyone know what I can do to solve the issue of all the software not working saying that the file path doesn't exist just because I moved windows from HDD to SSD? does anyone know any software or things I could use to solve the issue? if you do that would be amazing.

There are some software which will work as long as filepaths remain same. This if you reinstall OS drive, but leave software on another drive as is. If you have installed OS to new drive, and made original OS drive 2nd drive, you really need to reinstall. Mapping all filepaths again is easier when installer does it for you.

You can backup most settings and profiles and paste them back in later. Also Origin and Steam just require platform to be reinstalled, games can be "re-downloaded" aka added without need to do anything more.
