Looking for Cooler

VMBRA_

Hello fellow friends, Need a good advice on a CPU cooler for an 8700k processor.
The CPU cooler will be provisory until December and will be for myself (then I will reasearch on custom watercooling and replace it, so I can overclock it).

So I want some suggestions please.

The board I will be using is a MSI Z370I Gaming Pro Carbon AC and I would like to fit the rest of the theme and possibly have a cooler that is Mystic Light Compatible.

Thanks in Advance.

Down at the bottom of this page they have compatible components.  TO make sure it works with the system, I'd pick from this list to start.

Looks like a good unit.  Has the RGBs you're after.  Should let you OC the CPU some.  If you like it then go for it.

wich one of them? the deepcool or the  coolermaster one?

Sorry, the coolermaster.  Forgot to copy the link in.

It's push/pull and should have more cooling capacity.

Just make sure cooler fits with your case (cooler height vs case supported) and RAM (RAM height vs coolers overhang/adjusts/case compatibility).

That Coolermaster protrudes to space above closest DIMM slot:

While that motherboard doesn't have DIMM slots to waste with those as close to socket as clearance specs allow.

That cooler might fit with other orientation. If case has top mounts for exhausts.

I don't think 120mm fanned cooler fits that way any better unless DIMMs fit under heatsink:

True, thats problem with tiny mobos.

I am using the MSI Z370i Gaming Pro Carbon MB and Will use 2x8GB tridentZ 3200 cl14 with rgb, the case is a InWin 805c.

That case doesn't fit really high coolers:

CPU die surface to side panel height: 156mm Maximum

https://www.in-win.com/en/gaming-chassis/805/

Also its front intake fans are badly blocked, so hopefully you're not intending to build PC with high heat output into it.

That Coolermaster is 165mm high so completely out of question.

Deepcool is just at limit with 156mm height.

But fan is just touching at higher DIMM so might need moving little higher:

With that mini-motherboard you don't have luxury of moving DIMMs to other pair of slots.

I just bought the cryorig H7, wich seems to fit even mini itx Motherboards... Picture below is an example. It's a temporary solution, since later this year i'll be moving to a EKWB CPU + GPU cooling loop (just waiting for NVidia new series to release). But thank you and everyone for the suggestions :) Oh also... The case has upper fan mounts for 2 fans ;)

By the way I will send the board back and get a replacement, because I figured I bought the wrong one (when I read again the comment from ESAT wich said: "With that mini-motherboard you don't have luxury of moving DIMMs to other pair of slots."), then I thought wtf? I have four slots. And went to check the specs of the motherboard I bought, and realised I fucked up. My Original plan was to buy the Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon.

Was little wondering why Mini-ITX mobo in normal ATX case...

In that case "i" doesn't mean improved.

nope it doesn't. The thing is, I got Distracted and didn't noticed the "i" at the time of purchase. Bad thing about brands is a lot of names look the same. (Still figuring excuses for my distraction).
The good thing is: I didnt opened the package yet because it arrived at home, but I am not in there atm. So it's contents were not even Opened.
