So I was watching the video on liquid metal cooling a laptop (because I actually want to do it). I was scrolling through the recommended videos and came across a video with the exact title but a slightly different thumbnail. When I clicked on it, it was a LTT video re-uploaded on a different channel. Is that allowed?

 

The name of the channel doing this is called [removed]. I think they are also doing this to other people's videos as well. There is also a ton of other LMG videos there too.

 

P.S. I'm posting this because I care. Also because it drives me crazy when people do that.

Somethings obviously happened since he hasn't posted anything for 3 months, I'm guessing YT blocked him from uploading new content but forgot to take the channel down fully.

Unless it's got Creative Commons Attribution License, it's not allowed.

It's okay to repost standard licensed YouTube video if you have the author's explicit permission.

I assume he just reposted it without without permission. Then it's not allowed and LTT has the right to take down his videos.
