Hi :)

I currently travel between my mom and dads house every week and I have been carrying thtis big thermal take case around for the past year and a half. I'm planning on eventually upgrading my pc and I need suggestions of what case to get. Perferably I would like if it could fit in a backpack (mine is relatively large) or have a handle. While not being over $100 (the cheaper tthe better!)

Thanks in advance,

Joe

The old CM Storm Scout 2 had a great grip and was a midtower if you can find one xD

Aren't all of your components ATX then? You probably won't be able to find anything too compact.

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Or you could look for a used laptop in good condition.

I'm also considering this

This looks good actually, I'll look further into this

Right now, I'm using a Micro-ATX motherboard which is compatible for the scout 2. I do plan to upgrade my cpu/motherboard eventually so A Mini-ITX case would be cool too

Thanks for the replies :)

Q300L then, solid semi-modular case

The Q300L is the one that actually has airflow, though it isn't exactly the smallest MicroATX case

That looks awesome! It kinda reminds me of an iPhone X with the notch for the I/O panel lol. I just need to figure out where to find the handle for it, theres a couple of pics with it installed. I'm definitely looking into this.

If you're cool with mITX and an SFX PSU, the ML08 is a good option. Pretty much the RVZ02, but there's a version with a handle.

before posting this I was looking into that, I just dont want to deal witth the sfx psu when I have a perfectly fine one here

There's plenty of holes on the case, you can probably just find some handles on amazon or something to add onto it

I was looking at this a few years ago actually! Looks like a great case but it's alot of money now :/

The only reason I got one was because I knew a guy who was selling his ( i know a thing or two about big thermaltake cases LOL)

However it's not "backpack" ready and as far as mITX cases go it's considered large. Personally I dont care what they say because it can fit a 200mm fan, a full sized GPU, 2 2.5" SSD's and 2 3.5" SSD's, a regular ATX PSU and even the Cryorig H7 air cooler (or any 240mm RAD if you were so inclined) with all intakes filtered. Plus the handle and Front I/O look amazing (and feel good to use) For a nice backpack w/handle cases, the ML08 @seon123 mentioned is probably the go-to.
