It's more expensive than the masterwatt 500 lite though (Amazon) which I guess is Tier 3. Maybe MWE stands for MasterWatt Elite so it's between Tier 3 MasterWatt and Tier 7 Elite ?

MW Lite is Tier 5 imho. I'd say probably a Tier 4.

What about cooler masters MWE(550), it's not on the list but does it come under masterwatt. It's just below masterwatt on the cooler master site.

I'd say probably a 4 or 5. There aren't any reviews so we can't judge it.

It can't be tier 3, from what I have seen that thing is group regulated and group regulated units can't be any better than tier 4

U mean MW 500 lite? I assumed it was under MW (tier 3). My bad then.

There's not much known about it so I don't put it on the list. Just know that, if Cooler Master isn't sending out review units like hot cakes, the unit isn't that great.

MWE 550 is the same shit as be quiet Pure Power L8 or EVGA Bronze 500 Thingy.

So no, its not a particularly good unit.

The MWE Gold is something like Xilence Performance X.
If it is really cheap, its somewhat OK, though on the lower end...
