i'm lookking for cheap used gpu

looking for gpu on the used market

- the gpu must be under 40$

- the gpu must support all need for speed games before 2015

- the gpu must run on psu with 500W and quad 12v rails each has 18amps

- the must hit 240fps on cod4, im getting 100 on ati 6310 and e-350 cpu

To be honest for $40 you may as well not bother looking, if your after 200+ fps in games. Your probably better of saving a little and getting something around the $150, thats when the gpu you buy will actually make any difference

What specs do you need to run those games?

You might try looking for an HD 7970?

 

Though saving up for a deal om a R9 290x will probably be better

A GTX 460/550ti would probably meet your criteria (new NFS may not run super smooth).

Your frames in COD probably comes more down to CPU though.

Would personally save for something a little better, or a another system.

This will probably not help you COD performance though, you probably need a better system all around.

cod has some advanced options so 200+ fps its easily achivable i think, the radeon hd 6310 im using now can get 150fps. 7970 is 70$ :/, core2quad cpu so 150$ gpu is something like 1050ti, bottleneck for the cpu

Ah I see.  Wasn't sure of the CPU.  Then yeah, I think 550ti would be a good match for it.  Should fit in your budget and do the things you want to do.

well there is one 550ti whitin my budget, but will it do better than radeon hd 6850? gtx 550ti is 10$ more expensive but if there is a noticable diference i will go deeper into the pocket

The 6850 may be the better buy then.  It's slightly faster iirc.
