New low budget build

Hello. I want to buy a cheap and fast pc (not for games, just a bit hearthstone)

I am thinking to buy an ssd Western Digital Green M.2 240GB,  a processor AMD Ryzen 3 2200G, a Corsair CX Series 450, a G.Skill Aegis 8GB DDR4-3000MHz and a case Cougar Middle Tower Cases MX330-X
I dont know what motherboard to use. Also, I would like your opinion about the build.

Do you really want a case with a window? Nothing you have inside is really that nice looking or worth showing off

You can save $6 by going with an SU800, but this gives you NVME speeds so...why not.

 

@GoldenLag Don't forget that the motherboard you chose might not work with that CPU unless he has a way to update the BIOS.

By this time the BIOSes should be up to date in stores. If its the worst case scenario he can either bring it to a local tech shop or order a free boot kit

So, more hassle. Not every retailer will take something that's been opened back, and many don't flash BIOS's. When I had an Intel board that needed a flash, I contacted 7 shops. None would do it. The boot kit requires a credit card deposit and additional wait time.

 

It's highly possible shops just have tons of boards left from initial orders. Since B450 is coming soon, they wouldn't have been ordering as many B350 boards, if at all.

Mentioned it a lot earlier this year. Motherboards allready had the correct Bioses during spring. At this point in time they should have the correct BIOSes.

Mostly just for people that look like they might be newer users. There's more of a chance they're unaware and wouldn't know why their build is failing

They should have the correct BIOSes now as long as you buy from a store which ships some volume.

Also the mx 330 cougar case is nolonger 25$. Grab a Bitfenix Nova instead for 24$

I have a ryzen 3 1200 at a build now and im very happy with that..

Also, i dislike th whole story with meltdown etc..

Its right, but amd is less affected at spectre and its variations.. anyway, i am a amd buyer since it's first steps, i wouldnt change it since i am not disappointed with this company...
