1. Budget & Location My budget is around $1800 USD, not looking to go much higher than that. 2. Aim This build is going to be mainly used for triple A gaming and streaming, but I also will need to do some 3D modeling and photo/video editing as well. 3. Monitors Right now, the only monitor I have and am planning to use is the Omen by HP 25in Display (FHD (1920 x 1080 @144hz) 4. Peripherals I have all of the peripherals that I need (Mouse, keyboard, monitor, headset). I will need Windows 10, I was planning on getting a key from SCDKey (BTW, is this a reliable site or should I go somewhere else?) The main goal of this post is to find out whether I should use the Ryzen 7 2700x or the Intel i7-8700k. I am planning on overclocking whichever one I get, but I don't know whether the extra cores on the Ryzen would make up for the worse clock rate/lost FPS. Either of the motherboards will be fine, same with the Crosshair VII

Whatever case you end up with, so long as it has a mesh front you'll probably be fine on airflow. Could always just get the Mesh C or something.

If settings don't change, and if Gigabyte's BIOS is trash, I'll probably get the X470-F, seems fine to me, and Guyse gave a fix to the problems people were having.

For the case, I'll probably get the RL06, as it looks cool and is cool.
