Speedfan not detecting motherboard

Hi, i started using speed fan and at first it recognized my motherboard and worked fine. After a while it stopped recognizing my motherboard which made it so i cant change fan speeds anymore. I haven't changed any settings in the program or done any changes to my system. Does any have any suggestions on how i can fix this problem? thanks in advance.

Specs:

Windows 10

Intel i7-8700k

ROG STRIX Z370-F GAMING

1070 TI

16 GB

Ignore the cpu usage i was doing something at the time.

Your motherboard (and most of newer motherboards) isn't supported. Use your motherboards own software or paid software called Argus Monitor.

really, it worked before with the same exact motherboard, but after a reboot it stopped working. And where can i buy this argus monitor from and does it work similar to speedfan?

I dont know why it would stop working like that. Could be Windows update, could be something else. If it isn't fixed by reinstalling SpeedFan...

i know i'm late but i found that un-installing it through add/remove programs and then re-installing it will solve the issue.
