To fit or not to fit?

CriSis_

As the time is drawing nearer to the purchase of my pc I have once more ran into problems. I have been given a split opinion on whether some of my pc parts will fit within the Corsair 570x. Parts include mobo, PSU, cooler etc.

My cxurrent parts list in no partiicular order  -

CPU - i7 8700k

GPU - FE 1080ti or Asus strix / evga super clocked

MOBO - Asus Maximus x hero (wifi ac)

PSU - Corsair rmx750w or rmi depending on pricing at the time

RAM - Trident z rgb 2x8gb 3200mhz

CPU Cooler - Be quite dark rock pro 45 or the Cryorig R1 Universal

CASE - Corsair 570x white

SSD - Samsung 860 pro 256gb

HDD - Seagate barracuda 2tb 7200rpm

M.2 - Samsung 950 pro-250gb

OS - Windows 10 pro

Please msg me back asap as some of my parts have a large sale price :D

Thanks for the help!

Have you tried putting all the parts onto PC Part Picker and checking for compatability there? If not then it does exactly what you're asking.

Indeed I have, all seems to be good on there, however, the comments from people have made me rather sceptical.

Thanks for the recommendation though :D

The m.2 is a boot drive and the other SSD was meant to say 500gb as a games drive (only for games i use as a regular such as csgo, pubg, gtaV, etc)

I'll probably buy a secondary 500 GB SSD and run it in raid.

I just mean the 950 is pretty old, and had heating issues. You should be buying something newer.

500GB will run out awfully quickly when you start putting AAA games onto it.

I wouldn't run anything in RAID, it's not that reliable.

Pro SSDs are a waste of money, you can get a lot more storage by going with the Evo drives.

Just realised now.... I put 950 :(xD it was meant to say 970, the 950 256gb is for a secondary surprise build for my brother

Fair enough :D I'll look into a pair of 860 evos and 2 970 m.2s

Thanks for pointing that out :D

I'd just get something medium sized for the os, and grab a massive SSD for games.
