I'm wondering if there is such thing as a case that consists of many pieces of glass/acrylic mounted to a metal frame, a bit like this; but, like I said, with glass or acrylic. It would be a sort of mid-tower/open-frame hybrid. Is there such a thing?

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.

Most people would probably want the P1 or P3...the P5 is massive.

Though if you check Kijiji I think there might be someone still selling theirs @Computernaut it was pretty cheap too.

There was also a P3 for an OK price.

Sounds similar to the Inwin S frame case.

"Limited Edition - Sold out"

So yeah not much help still :/

The most common commercial option would be the P1 as previously mentioned... Certainly not a super explored concept for a case, very few options without overpaying.

All of those have opaque panels of some kind, this case would have a minimalistic frame and all the panels would be glass/acrylic.

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.

That's probably the closest to what I'm thinking of, the exact thing probably doesn't exist.

That is similar, the main difference being (besides the integrated water-cooling) that that is still very much a normal case; it has six sides and the panels meets up at the corners.

Mostly just for fun I made a model in Lego Digital Designer of the way I imagined the case. I've added color so you can see the individual panels.
