Just returned from Camping 2 weeks in the wilderness. Had a package on my front step - You Betcha - It was my brand new 17-8086K Limited Edition CPU.  So yes this is real. I got a email about 1 1/2 weeks ago to provide my phone number. Wasn't expecting anything if at all until after Oct 15. Wow - 29 August. Just a note - I did not have to sign for this so it may have been sitting on my front step for a few days.  OH WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY.
