my gtx 760 got up to 80 degrees C

I need tips on how to keep it cool. More case fans? I don't have money to spend on a watercooling unit. It is a MSI GTX 760 and on speccy it got up to 80 degrees C. Whats a good way to keep it cool. Im kinda worried right now.

Ill be on tomarrow for now im going to let it cool down.

80 degrees is fine. really. your gpu will push until 80 degrees. that's the default config.

Gpu boost 2.0 means the card will overclock itself until it reaches 80oc, the card isnt under threat until you get to around 105oc. If you dont like your card at this temperature then go to the nvidia control panel and change it.

download mis afterburner and set a custom fan curve

That But also gpu's are safe up to 90°C so you are fine. if it was running 80 all the time i would be worried but its fine.

okay, i was kinda worried there, my gpu is 23-25c idleing. Could somone link me to msi afterburner, i cant seem to find it on msi's site it just talkes about it.

For afterburner click on the big green arrow-looking thing on the left, it's actually a button but not many people realise it. They should prolly change it.

The 760 is designed to run at 80 degrees on load, if it bothers you, play with your settings in Nvidia control panel or set a custom fan config im MSI afterburner... I'd personally overclock it even more haha.

Not true, the 780TI has a default GPU Boost 2.0 throttle of 83C :P

Id say leave it unless it causes a racket. My friends r9 290x runs like a jet turbine and at 95 Celsius

If 80C is your load temp then it is fine. If you want it to be cooler, set a fan curve in MSI Afterburner like the people above suggested:http://www.overclock.net/t/646422/how-to-adjust-your-fan-curve-in-msi-afterburner
