LG G7 bootloops after Android update due to planned obsobence. Users face upgrading to solve issues /s

Main System - 2016 13"nTB MBP 256GB

Gaming Rig - 4790K, 16GB RAM, 1080Ti
Monitor - Dell 25" U2515H

K/B & M - Ducky One TKL, Logitech MX Master & G900

People get mad about poor performance and bugs, apple fixes the bugs and increases CPU power limits.

 

People then get mad that battery life is worse.

 

You can't have it both ways.

The fix is making sure you switch to 2.4 gigahrtz wifi instead of 5 gigahrtz. No idea why this would do anything, but my phone lasted a good 5 hours in sleep mode now but not everyone has 2.4 and 5 in their house nor wants to switch. This is the fix for me at least. I'm sure it will have a hotfix soon though.

You can restore with any publicaly signed firmware using iTunes as long as you have he ipsw downloaded.

Where do you find those???? My iPad mini is due for a restore but I'm sure trying to have it run iOS 9 is going to be a nightmare (as if 8 wasn't bad enough).

To reiterate, you can only update/restore to a firmware that is currently being signed.

Why do I feel like apple just stopped slowing down the iPhone to save battery life because people were complaining.

 

now that the battery is drained at it’s supposed rate without apples tweaking, people start bitching.

 

theres just no pleasing people

Pretty sure you can use the "battery health" app to enable or disable the battery life slowdown now.
