Road Rage Gone Mad

Go to solution Solved by Blasteque,

In 2016, in the USA, there were 17250 murders.

In 2016, in the USA, there 37461 deaths by motor vehicle.

It's easy to get wound up about murders, school shootings, and so-on, but our cars are a bigger killer.  We all need to improve behind the wheel.

In Edmonton non the less hehehehehehehe

What has this world become?

The California one looks like the car intentionally wanted to kill the biker.

The E-town one is interesting. Trying to kick in the door panel then punching the mirror off. Serves the car driver right. Hopefully its a $500+ repair.

That is why I prefer to drive large lifted trucks. But damn that road rage is so dangerous, so so danger-ous

Road worker run over in Vancouver

Playing with big BIG TRUCKS

Time to give them big rigs the respect they deserve, and please if you want to save your windshield why drive behind them?

Those are the biggest a-holes out on the Highways of Metro Vancouver. It's common to seem them weaving in and out of traffic... in a vehicle that's prone to flipping over due to its high centre of gravity.

The one who ran over the road worker was tracked down.

Charges were laid.

Just assault with a weapon? Canadian law is weak, that should have been attempted murder with a weapon. If this happened at any other place or a simple pedestrian they'd of had their wrist smacked and driving privileges revoked with a careless driving charge or something stupid like that. The second you endanger one's life including what a H2 did to me yesterday by pushing itself threw the intersection because it's big extending its advance by 2 cars, you should never be permitted to drive again.

But this is why we need autonomous vehicles sooner than later. And the political BS because one idiot jaywalked w/o a care about their safety needs to leave. The second autonomous vehicles become even 0.0000001% safer than the average driver they should be implemented. Which based on what I've seen in the last 5 years it's already surpassed it...

What we need is a hive type AI in cars where if one makes a mistake they all learn from it.

Yup

Look at the Greyhound beheader, walking free.

U of C student mass murderer, son of top cop, N.C.R. probably walking free.

Karla Hulmulka murderer taking care of children in Quebec

Cement truck driver that killed an entire family days before Christmas, cant drive commercially. I thought minimum, lifetime ban driving, but he did have the best lawyer in town, Belfour Der.

I doubt it'll solve the issue with road rage as these cars would absolutely have to offer the ability for the driver to override the system.

True but how many road rages would actually happen if every car had a dash cam for auto pilot? Afaik all autonomous cars record, not sure if Tesla has the option to turn that feature off or not, if they do I question those who turn it off.

Tho it should be pointed out if even half the cars had current autonomous highway driving a lot of accidents and road rages would likely not happen. Simply because if some dumb schmuck cuts you off the car won't get mad, and should refuse you taking over for 30 seconds so long no harm will happen to you during such time.

I didn't know about the last 2, but the fact that the first 2 are able to freely walk (or almost) is disgusting.

I'm hoping the guy behind the Toronto attack gets full punishment. Tho, pedestrians are more likely to be killed by a normal bad driver over anyone who goes on a mass murder.

There should be far more enforcement on the roads, like pedestrian crossing stings and huge fines. Heck I was riding in a 30kph provincial park zone and there were cars doing double the limit. Thats an automatic impound and license suspension. Enforce it like they do drunk driving. Crack down hard.
