Best type of Ethernet cable?

I get 2-250mb with my internet provider and I need a 6m cable running from my PC to the router.

It may be a stupid question, but are there better cables than others? 

 

My wireless dongle keeps dropping connection when playing online games, which is really frustrating, so I want to run direct

Anything cat5e or better should give you the same experience.  It's generally a waste to go higher unless you have long runs (50m+) and higher speed interfaces (10gbit).

Just avoid CCA (copper clad aluminum) cables and you'll be good :)
