Do you mean 1080p? I haven't heard of an 1800p monitor. Like ever.

All games work at 1080p. Look for that.

1080p = 1920x1080

2k = 2560x1440 = 1440p

4k = 3840x2160 = 2160p

so no, there is no 1800p.

If you have a 4k monitor you need to look for 2160p

Do you know how to google.

literally anywhere on the internet 4k is always 2160p. prove me wrong

EDIT: PS4 upscales to 1800p, which isn't 4k. it's an upscale.

4k and 1080p

here's a quote from Reddit:

Quote

If you aren't using an 1800p screen I wouldn't use it. 1800 doesn't multiply neatly into 2160 which means image distortion on 4K screens when it upscale. There might be algorithms that help with this. I think the image scaling used on 900p xbox one games are probably a good example. Checkerboarding on PS4 Pro seems to handle this too. On PC it just seems like a bad idea.

You said you have a 4k monitor, but you game on PC. It's not a good idea, so it comes as no surprise that most games don't support 1800p.

Try enabling Nvidia DSR, should give you the option to use 3200x1800 resolutions (or something closer to that).

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5800X GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 12GB + Motherboard: Asus Crosshair VIII Hero

  Case: Asus ROG Strix Helios Gundam Edition Power Supply: Asus ROG Thor 850P

You can, but you shouldn't since it can look pretty terrible given that monitors look the best at their actual resolutions. Non-native resolutions require interpolation.

I'm going to wager it's because you don't have a monitor that reported it supports the resolution you're looking for by default. If you have a 4K monitor, you can add a custom resolution in the NVIDIA Control Panel under Display -> Change Resolution -> Customize... button. If you have something of lower resolution than the one you want, then you're going to have to enable DSR. However, keep in mind that DSR only works on set multiples. So divide the resolution you want by the monitor's resolution (just width or height will do) and see if that number shows up in the DSR factors list. If not, then you're just going to have to deal with the closest value.

DSR factor 3x = 3325 x 1871

With every driver update it resets back to off in control panel

Let's agree to disagree

The best way to get help is to insult the person trying to help you. 1800p is an unusual resolution, kind of like 1600x1200 back in the day. It's not often seen outside of the laptop world because 4K is better in literally every way. If you have a 1080 Ti and a 4K monitor, why are you looking to use 1800p at all?

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

Yeah, I'm going to leave now and continue to help people who don't sound like raging five year olds who are too stubborn to listen to people who actually know what they're talking about, or even something as simple as spelling for that matter.
