860 evo VS mx500 (both 1tb)

hi, just wanna know your opinion about these, its going to be for my sff build coming soon, its going to be used to store all my games. the 860 evo has an endurance of 600tbw but is 350$ cad / the mx500 has 360 tbw of endurance while its only 300...

I didn't know the new 860's had that much of endurance, I love crucial but I would definitely go for an 860 EVO, thanks for sharing

They're both very similar performance wise. Even though the 860 is rated for a lot more I doubt the NAND is actually vastly more durable than the stuff Micron uses. Plus, unless you write close to 100GB a day to the drive you won't come anywhere close to the rated amount of writes for the drives.

 

I would personally go MX500 just because it's cheaper.
