Do I need to buy the same model of monitor for my secondary display?

 

Because my monitor is now discontinued on my countries PC retailers to match the same one.

 

Currently I'm using the BenQ XL2420G 24in LED 144Hz G-Sync Gaming Monitor as my primary display.

No. You can use any monitors that will connect to your video card and /or onboard video if applicable.
