Ram, fans, HDD/SSD use little and the OP stated the specs already, we don't need model names for this one. (Unless OP updated post or that was aimed at specific PSU models)

 

A solid 500w unit can run an unlocked i7 and a single GTX 1080, let alone an i3 + an RX 480

A solid 500w unit can run an unlocked i7 and a single GTX 1080, let alone an i3 + an RX 480

We don't know if it's a solid unit, that's why we want the unit.

Precisely.  

 

Unfortunately, Cooler Master has exactly ZERO "good" 500W units.  The good units are either 450W or 550W, but not 500W.

 

If it's an Elite series or GX-Lite, etc. you might want to consider a decent 450W PSU.
