Suggestionis for my first build?

Hey! I'm planning to build my first pc. I have a budget of less than 1000USD. I do 3D Modelling and quite a bit of gaming so atleast it could run PUBG and still have decent multithreaded performance. I already have my peripherals including the monitor (AOC I2280SWD 21.5" IPS DVI/VGA). Anyways here's my plan:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1300x

Motherboard: MSI-B350M PRO VDH Micro ATX AM4

Cooler: ID-Cooling SE214 RGB

RAM: Team T-Force Delta RGB (2 x 4 GB)

SSD: KIngston - SSDNow G2 120M M.2-2280

HDD: WD - Caviar Blue 1TB

GPU: GALAX Geforce GTX 1050ti 4GB OC

Case: Cooler Master - MasterBox MB500 ATX Mid Tower

PSU: Corsair - VS 650W

So yeah. Did I do something wrong, or any suggestions, or is this good? Thanks!

Unless you need lightning-fast boot times, I would swap the M.2 out of a 2.5" SSD and save a few bucks.

Main PC:

AMD Ryzen 7 5800X • Noctua NH-D15 • MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk • 2x8GB G.skill Trident Z Neo 3600MHz CL16 • MSI VENTUS 3X GeForce RTX 3070 OC • Samsung 970 Evo 1TB • Samsung 860 Evo 1TB • Cosair iCUE 465X RGB • Corsair RMx 750W (White)

Peripherals/Other:

ASUS VG27AQ • G PRO K/DA • G502 Hero K/DA • G733 K/DA • G840 K/DA • Oculus Quest 2 • Nintendo Switch (Rev. 2)

Laptop (Dell XPS 13):

Intel Core i7-1195G7 • Intel Iris Xe Graphics • 16GB LPDDR4x 4267MHz • 512GB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD • 13.4" OLED 3.5K InfinityEdge Display (3456x2160, 400nit, touch).

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)

I see. I'll keep that in mind. I guess I really dont need the "lightning-fast" boot times lol. Just to clarify tho, how fast is it?

The listed M.2 ssd has a SATA III interface so it is no faster than a 2.5" ssd. NVMe drives have about five times the bandwidth of SATA III.

A 240GB+ ssd would be much better.

There is no need for a 650W psu. The listed build will operate quite comfortably with a 450W psu. Consider a CX450 or CX450M.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

Oh yeah. Thanks. I was actually skeptical that i need so much power since i really dont understand how to determine how much is needed. Good thing i asked

I built your system, as roughly listed, just for reference.

Let me dial up a different build as a suggestion.

Right up to the budget line. Could cut some money in Case, Cooler and HDD without unbalancing it.

GPU prices are still high, but they've come down in the last few weeks.
