4 hours prime stable seems a bit weak. I think 24 hours prime stable should be the minimum requirement to join the club, or to post any overclock. Just like the olden days when we had DFI-Street.com

and users should have to post a screen shot with a run of 24 hours or more of prime, CPUz and some type of benchmark like 3dmark or Pcmark so other users can compare OC results.

Hi All,

I would like to add my efforts to this thread.

I was able to achieve 5.0 Ghz on my 2600K.

I'm using a Corsair H100 with GT fans.

I was able to get the screen shots, but i didn't want to leave it at 100% load for to long as my temperatures were at about 85C (ambient temperature here in Australia was 29C, so if my room was a little cooler it might not have been as bad).

I have plans on constructing a custom water loop. When complete it I will defiantly try again for the 4 hour stable test.

My system specs are as follows:

Asus P8Z68 Deluxe Gen 3 Motherboard

Intel i7 2600K

Corsair H100 ( with two GentleTyphoon 1850rpm using the H100 fan controller)

8Gb (4x2Gb) Mushkin RAM 1600mhz

Two Samsung 830 256Gb SSD in raid 0 as boot

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Corsair 650D case

Friend had it running at over 5Ghz - offered him (way too much) money for it and he accepted.

Its a custom Windows 7 Theme - Elune (search deviantart) and a custom start button

Look at razethew0rld's tutorial on how to install custom themes if you want to do it
