Carbide Air 540 or Meshify C for airflow?

Hi guys! Which of these two do you think have better airflow at stock? I'm searching for a case that has a good/great airflow and cooling performance and will fit a Noctua NH-D15 se am4.

Carbide Air 540 or Fractal Design Meshify C?  Thank you very much.

Those are both really great cases so you can't really go wrong.  I have an Air 540 and it's great but it is starting to show it's age. I'd say just choose whatever one you think looks cooler, at most there might be 1C difference between the two.

If I was choosing between the two today I'd go with the Meshify since it's both cheaper and has tempered glass (yum).

Just cut yourself a TG side panel. There, 2018.

Thank you for the response. Yeah, I also think that Carbide 540 is a little more expensive. But since i was planning for a while build, i think Carbide is cooler hehe.

What's going to make the actual difference between these cases are the fans you use. It's hard to say "A is better thna B for airflow" when theyre both basically mesh.

The Air 540 can hold slightly more hardware but the Meshify C is more modern, smaller, TG panel and costs less. (also available in white soon if that's your thing)

Thank you for the advice, I guess I have to work out which fans I should use as well. I like Air 540 being bigger than the latter as it can accommodate more stuff in it like the Noctua NH-D15.

I keep my air540 on my desk which is why I like cube cases. The perspex window looks pretty good to me! It does it's job and shows things off quiet well. It is roomy.

A quick grab through the phone.....not the best but gives you an idea...it's on top of a desk and it is a large perspex window!

That is the ssd cage on top. Using an M.2 for operating system and hard drive you can see on floor. Plan is to get another ssd eventually but just using hard drive for bulk store of games. It's a gaming rig. It's a great case to build in. I have used nothing but Corsair cases in my last few builds. They are decent quality and easy to use. It should suit your needs well if you don't want the tempered glass look!
