Deceptive site ahead. Better History chrome extension culprit

I started receiving weird redirections starting yesterday. Even when I open sites like youtube, facebook or news sites, I have been redirected to unanalytics.com. So, at first, I thought my PC was infected. Then I scanned my whole PC. And one other thing, I haven't browsed anything out of the ordinary, or used a removable drive or installed anything. There was no way my PC would get infected.

 

Then I realized my other PCs with the DNS 1.1.1.1 started showing the same warning screens. So here is my question, Is the 1.1.1.1 DNS infected??  

 

Update: The problem gets solved when I change my DNS to 8.8.8.8.

Update: Better History Chrome Extension is the infected one. Other users are also facing the same issue.

I have doubts it is the fault of it. To test it simply just change the DNS to something like 8.8.8.8 and flush it, see if it still the same or not.

I just tried google DNS which was my previous DNS. And I'm not getting any more of those warning for now.

This could easily be a redirect in an embedded advertisement, if others are not experiencing it.

No malwares. I have switched back to 8.8.8.8 and no more redirections. I wonder what went wrong.

I would recommend using an Ad Blocker, if you're not already doing so. Also, does the redirects happen using different browsers?

I had these same screens this morning after booting up. I am using 1.1.1.1. ISP is Comcast.

 

One was for a page at GitHub. I opened several other tabs, walked away. When I came back half the tabs had the same warning. I thought it might have been chrome.

Are you by chance using better history extension in chrome??

Better history extension seems to be the culprit.

Remove it and problem is solved.
