Casual gaming and work station.

 Good day, peeps !

So, I've been looking into getting a computer for GF because her laptop hinders her ability to do actual academia work properly ( large file sizes and stuff ) but also doesn't allow decent gaming ( medium to high settings ) for most current or last gen games.

What I present today is a very selected PC from somewhat cheap but value parts.

GTX950 which I got from my upgrade to a GTX 1060  for my gaming PC.

 

A Grand total of 558 euros.

HDD is for regular storage while the SSD is for the OS.

I am not aware of a Gen 2 chip.

Pretty solid build, but I'd go with a CX450 over the VS 450 for the PSU as they're a little bit better. If possible, I'd stretch to a B350 board so you can overclock the CPU if ever needed.
