What RAM to pair with 8700K

Hello!

I am looking into RAM to pair with a MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC and 8700K i7

G.Skill 32 GB DDR4-3200 Kit
Timings: CL14 14-14-34

is this set too quick for the i7 8700K (DDR4-2667 Dual Channel)

Many thanks in advance!

The higher frequency at the lowest latency is what you want. The Gskill kit you have listed will be perfect.

That memory will be fine. Your motherboard supports memory up to 4000Mhz

You can find information about memory support on your motherboards product website.

Go for it. G.Skill is my go to choice next to Corsair.

I know my MOBO will be fine with this memory, but will the CPU handle the 3200 speeds?

Sorry, I misread your original question.
Yes it should be fine with that CPU. The 2666Mhz quoted for it on the intel page is what it will operate at as default.
When you install the RAM you will need to go in to your BIOS and either manually clock the RAM to 3200MHz or enable "XMP" (Xtreme Memory Profile) which will tell the system to run the memory at its highest speed. Without changing this setting in the BIOS your memory will only run at the default 2666MHz speed.

Alright, then I will have no problems, thank you for your help!
