Dogecoin crashing

You are either laughing, jumping for joy, upset or don't care either way. But as the title states, Dogecoin value has crashed. I've been watching the values of various coins every few hours for a couple of days and have noticed this trend as well. That said, it's the holiday season and more than likely, the early first week miners were probably the ones to cash out for some spare present cash. At least this is my theory anyway. The popularity exploded too fast and around the holidays, that only made things more unstable.

 

 

That Thursday, the average price "surged" to more than $0.000003, and briefly became the 7th-largest altcoin by market cap.

But starting around Friday, Dogecoin prices began to plummet.

As of Sunday night, prices now stand at  $0.0003— an approximately 80% drop-off from Thursday highs.

I've noticed the difficulty dropped from around 365 to just below 300 as of this post. What are your thoughts on dogecoin's future?

i think after the holidays it'll get better on other coins but doge i think it's gonna pass but i already traded 6k coins into bitcoin i have 0.00356842 BTC out of that trade so meh but i kept 1k just in case mining LTC coin atm just getting started started mining doge 2 days agoalso so i'm a bit late but eh i'm also mining fastcoin now

anyone wanna give me a litecoin :D LoL

I can be a cynical a**hole at times. I apologize if I cause any offence at those time. I also occasionally have issues communicating my point. Extreme introversion + Photographic memory + Some other things.

some did but most just mined some and stopped like me :) have a few just in case but not worth putting all the resources into after a couple thousand for me especially since i live in cali power a bish :D

I have a feeling that new types of these currencies will be popping up all over the place, people will be watching for them to start mining as quickly as possible and get as much out of it until it crashes a week or so later. I give this concept a year until the whole thing goes belly up.

If doge made it to just 10cents per coin, many miners will have several thousands easy, let alone a dollar per coin. :P

Mining dogecoin is still twice as profitable as mining LTC, but it is going down every day.  I'm still mining doge and selling at the end of each day until it isn't worth it anymore
