Need help for a new case

Hi everyone

 

So i got this old chieftec high tower that i love but its old. 

Some pictures attatched.

So this tower is very big, the problem is that i recently upgraded my whole computer, well, not upgraded, bought a new one.

it has a Asus Prime Z370-A motherboard, 32GB of ram, core i7 8700k and a 980TI (the graphics card is the only thing that i kept from my old system)

And... 6 hard drives plus the m.2 drive attatched to the motherboard.

I'm using an old Cooler master seidon 120 V3 Plus AIO water cooler and it only has a double fan 120mm radiator so this guy when my SQL Server installation starts working the cpu goes to 86ºC

I wanted at least double fan system with 240mm and this case does not support that. Also this system is full of RGB and my case does not have any modern see-through window and so on.

I was looking online and saw some smaller but more modern cases like the fractal design R6 and at least i want a 240mm radiator on my cpu to keep it cooler so i wanted some input on what you would buy for a future aio system.

i wanted to try custom water cooling but at the moment i need to focus more on my work and change the aio and case fast so that is the priority at least for now.

Do you plan on keeping all 6 hard drives? Or are you downsizing and condensing those too?

The R6 is more comparable to the 600C/Q, though, imo.

And he might be willing to spend more

I want to keep 6 to 7 drives but in the future i might add more. i still have space for a m.2 so i might add another m.2 wich does not take space on the case and add bigger normal drives to remove 2 or 3 so yes i have space to add and remove here and there.

some of the drives i have are old and i need to update them. adding another big drive might make me remove a lot of them

yes i wanted to go up to about 200€

The Define R6 would be a good fit then, as it can hold a slim 360 rad at the front and a thick 360 rad at the top while still having most of those hard drives installed

Ok i'm going with the Define R6 thanks for the help.

Any suggestion on a good AIO 240 or 360 to put on the front of that case for my cpu? i really need to keep it cooler and my current dual fan 120mm aio jumps the fans every time i try a game even fifa 18
