are there plans to include special characters in the username in the future?

Work around:

Sign up on the fourm, then log into floatplane with your fourm account.

that is what i did, this is the first time I'm opening the floatplane account, i don't have one, so i tried to sign in with forum option that imported my forum username but it shows me the error as shown above.
