Xiaomi wants their own Gaming Phone

Gaming with 97% DCI-P3. Is it even possible to put such screens in phones? 

 

I don't think anyone ever asked for gaming phone race yet we're getting it. 

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

Still cool to see such phones. Better cooling, bigger battery and 120Hz would be amazing as a new standard for everything nowdays.

Like every Flagship basically performs very well in games despite being "gaming".

People that want to game on the go and only want to carry around a phone. This differentiates itself with better cooling, possibly a better screen. Others have higher refresh rates. So there are differences.

I personally do not think gaming phones exist, but if they did they would not be what the Razor Phone and this phone are doing. 

 

They would need massive batteries, 60+Hz displays, ergonomic shapes, stereo speakers, and a custom SoC focused on graphics performance rather than single/multi threaded performance. 

 

The current "gaming phones" dont' really hit those marks making it more compelling imo to just buy a flagship device with the same SoC. 

Well no. Most phones throttle down heavily after extended use. Performance is usually quite a bit lower because of that. With proper cooling, something like this could probably be at least 30% faster in typical use cases

looks like a Mi6 with a different backplate. So my guess is no.
