Sanity Check Used Server for NAS

The listing just says "2 Xeons"  Also the picture looks like it's been through some rough handling. (even if it's digital)

Description lists them as 2 x E5530

hmm... 8 cores and 16 threads... I know it's a NAS but it is still a first generation Core.

I would look into a used Supermicro off Ebay and install your own CPUs/RAM (I'd go socket LGA2011 with E5 2670's) You'll be paying probably ~$750 - $1000 but you'll see much more performance and flexibility out of it.
