Used GTX 1080TI

Light-Punch

I am not sure whether this is the right forum to post this thread but I am planning to build a new PC and I came across a used Zotac GTX 1080TI FE. I am from India and I am getting the graphics card for Rs.25000 ($386). Typically, the graphics card goes for around Rs.70000 ($1000) (But it might reduce now to around $900). I am a little skeptical about buying it but it's a deal I do not want to pass.

No. There is a local portal to sell second hand items called 'Quikr'.

a used 1080ti for that low? i call bullshit, don't do it until you can personally verify that it's a legit working 1080ti.

Agreed, keep an eye out for anything that could give it away as not actually being a 1080Ti as well.

Probably something wrong with it.

Would suggest just an R5 2400G system for now, saving the rest of your budget for a next generation GPU in a few months

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Though if Zotac has a warranty like EVGA it'd totally be worth buying ;)

I just realised something. The guy has posted the pic of a Zotac GTX 1080TI amp edition (though the description says it's a FE). And that too just the cover and no picture of the actual card. I think I will leave this one. Thanks a lot guys for the suggestion.
