When the rumoured nvidia q3 graphics are released, gpu prices will drop further? Both for 1st and 2nd hand is likely?

however if crypto prices recovers or spikes again, mainly etherum? Gpu may become scarce again?

when new gpu are out. They are likely to be sold out n days?

what are the chances current gpu bounce back slightly?

No idea.

GPU prices are more or less returning to normal, I saw 1080s going for 650 USD on PCPartPicker the other day. I think a 1060 3Gb still goes for ~300 though. Honestly, we can't tell you anything about what's going to happen when the next generation of GPUs releases.

1. when the new gpus drop, prices of all gens will drop, yes. Both 1st and 2nd hand. Expect a lot of 2nd hand 1080's and 1080ti's from people upgrading.

2. if crypto recovers, which will happen at some point, yes, prices of gpu's will explode again, yes

3. depends on the amount of stock. But probably, yes. No new cards in a long time, a lot of people are ready/wanting/saving to upgrade. Not helped by the shortage we are coming out from.

4. what do you mean? of prices going back up? right now, it'll probably keep dropping till reaching pre-crypto boom levels, so beginning 2017 prices, or a bit higher, due to memory shortage. But if crypto goes back up, gpu prices will just follow.

GPU prices are highly affected by mining this year, and bitcoin aren't worth as much as they used to, when they made ppl buy GPU's for mining.

There's also been rumors this week and last week that chinese made ASIC mining machines we're about to be able to mine ethereum which the most comonly mined crypto right now..,results of those two things combined is a lot of used GPU flooding the market and slowly making prices go down...and nvidia and AMD delivered new batches of chips and most online retailers now have multiple sku's for many cards in stock, and prices should slowly come back to much closer to MSRP within the next month or so (*this is only an educated guess...but personally i would wait another couple weeks and then i would hunt down either a used high-end GPU or a new one with a good deal.)

Ethereum ASIC miners coming...800$ rumored price...these things might mine ethereum multiple times faster than a pair of GTX 1080ti :

it's almost over, just hold out strong...or buy used if you find something close to MSRP.

Here for example, this is a canadian retailer, about a week and a half ago they had no cards for sale pretty much, and now they have 10+ in stock of these GTX 1080 G1 gaming for 849$CAD which is 663$US...that ain't too bad..

MSI...also plenty available:

it's still higher than MSRP, but it will go down slightly eventually.

ethereum asic miner gpu pricing antminere3

This will bring the GPU price down. rumored 180 mhash per unit @ $800.

That's the power of 4-5 gtx 1080.

Expect floods of second hand gpu in the market soon, if this method is get a greenlight from the ethereum developer.

For current generation cards, yes because it's.. Well, not new anymore. For next generation, who knows? Of course it will be more expensive than current gen cards when they first released, demands are higher than before because mining starved gamers from their cards. We just dont know by how much.

It will if that's the case, but the problem lies on whether cryptocurrency not mined by ASIC machines will rise in price.

Most likely, yes. This happens even before mining crypto is a thing.

Unlikely. They are aging and crypto prices are still dropping.

No one can really guess. Just buy factory direct when the new ones launch, or pre-order from a big online retailer. Dont wait until they are scarce and marked up to hell and back.
