Add a "Love it" button.

Tarun10

I know we have a Like, Agree, Funny and Informative button but something on the lines of a love it button would be useful in some topics like General Discussion and Off Topic and also in Reviews and Builds.

Someone suggested there needs to be a "Give Hug" reaction. . .

†

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.

Cry havoc and let slip the Togs of war.  (Signature V3)

There would of course need to be a "Return Hug" reaction to their reaction if they used the "Give Hug" Reaction.

This would make threads more interesting, the mental image of everyone hugging everyone else. . .

I could do that in text form but a button would save so much time and storage and also make it easier for people to read.

Theres only so many reactions we can express, adding x would favor adding y and then z, at this point reacting with emotes is a better idea :D

EDIT: I sometimes use the Informative reaction to express "k." (which is evil on my part because most of the time i'm legit using it, like "TIL")

Haha, where does like turn into a thumbs up? Seems like some Facebook style witchcraft.

Maybe you guys are right. After all, this ain't TouchWiz. So need to overload with it unnecessary features but instead keep it simple instead like Stock Android.

Look I agree with some of the arguments here but @Tarun10 is right here with It isn't touchwiz.

Everything has it uses, but how necessary is it?

I just use the Like button as a love button.

My opinion in short:

It would come in handy, but most likely just wastes spaces makes things harder to use.

No from me.

We could go overboard with reactions honestly, but I don't think that's what our forum is. If you wanna have fun with very diverse reactions, there are social networks that have a bunch of them.

Me personally, I don't like reactions because they don't give justice to emotion. "sad" doesn't come near to fully describing some bad things that happen, but people on say, facebook, are encouraged to just click "sad" and not give thought on the matter.

Imagine this: you post "guys my mum just died, I feel devastated". Would you feel any better if a bunch of people clicked "sad" and didn't actually respond?

Its like the like button on Facebook.

That lost all of the meaning that the word Like has.

Right. "Like" doesn't mean "I enjoy this" it now means "ughrlbghlrg"
