My 2600k got up to 95°C at times. I wouldn't run it long at those Temps though :P

Try to keep it below 80. So just try to run a game and see what it does. If it goes insanely high, just buy a $20 cooler like the Hyper 212

My i7 2600k paired with a 650 psu from Corsair runs at around 40 degrees Celsius while nothing is going on, which I know is fine. It jumps up to 60 degrees when I'm playing CS:GO, and I'm wondering if it will be okay to play games like battlefield 1 or rainbow six siege. Should I change my case for better air flow or get a new heatsink?

Are you using the stock intel heatsink?

60°C is fine.
