Hello, I'm looking to buy an ultrabook with a budget of ~1500€ that I could use when I not at home.

The main things I'm looking for are:

- A pretty good screen for media watching, touchscreen would be cool but not necessary

- Decent battery life

- Possibility to play small games that can run on integrated graphics

Storage space isn't really important but i'd like at least 8GB of ram and an i5 if possible

Keyboard isn't important, I'll use an external 60% one.

That's pretty much it, I live in France by the way if that matters?

Thanks for the help!

Well, if that is all you need, and if the budget is that high.....

https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/macbook?product=MNYF2LL/A&step=config#

Only weighs 2.03lbs (0.92kg)

IntelHD 615 graphics for light titles and potentially 4K video editing in FinalCut Pro (I'm being serious)

USB-C port (If you need more there are a million adapters that give you everything in one solution)

Best in class trackpad

Excellent display

100% silent

10 hour battery life

Alternatively if you want way more power, a MacBook Pro can be had for the same price

https://www.apple.com/shop/buy-mac/macbook-pro?product=MPXQ2LL/A&step=config#

Weighs 1.37kg

Iris Plus 640 Graphics

2x Thunderbolt 3 ports

Same creature comforts as the MacBook

I personally own a 13" MacBook Pro and its been nothing but the best computing experience I have ever had in a laptop.

XPS 15 perhaps? Decently upgradable IIRC, though might be on the heavy side.

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

I would suggest something with kaby lake refresh and mx150 graphics, this would probably fit the bill pretty well

I know it's amazon us, but the model in your country shouldn't be listed at much more.

8086k Winner BABY!!
