Those bars in your basement are likely water pipes. Please don't try to make them support your weight, water damage is a pain in the ass, please don't give your parents a reason to murder you.

 

You can get pull up bars to install fairly easily hell ask your parents and tack on "Or should I just use one of the random pipes in the basement"  and they may eagerly buy you one to avoid a problem. . . . I have water damage repairs going on as we speak, I sure as hell would buy my kid one!

I'm 12 and want to do pull-ups. There's a bunch of bars hanging from my basement ceiling, but they are 3edgy5me. These are my current muscles.

They make bars that mount into a doorframe, look into them.

pull ups are difficult dont expect miracles at the beginning. My advice start with like a small crate or something and try to lift yourself from that
