should i use a i3-6100 with a zotac gtx 1050ti oc edition. is it a good fit and does anyone recommend it

you're probably better off with a ryzen 3 or 5, the gpu is fine though.

In my opinion, Ryzen is a better and cheaper CPU for budget builds.

You may have better value out of Ryzen depending on where you live.
