Is it possible to turn a PC into a PS3 emulator?

Hello everyone,

So I might be selling my PC soon and wanted to spend it's last moments with fun... I know there is a emulator named RPCS3 but don't know if it is possible to add the PS3 XMB interface? I have a lot of games and I don't play them because I sold my PS3. Also, I've tried GTA V but the intro is at 4 FPS... I do have a "good" PC.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9750 Quad-Core

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 (my love)

RAM: (4x2GB) 8GB DDR2 886MHz

MOBO: Acer G7200 Predator OEM Motherboard

GPU: nVidia GeForce GTX 650 1GB Mini ZoTac

PSU: Delta PSU 750W...

SSD: 60GB Patriot Flare SSD

HDD: 750GB 7200RPM Acer Hard Drive

Case: Acer G7200 OEM Case

Thanks. ;p

I imagine that there is PS3 emulators but I doubt they are ones that let you use the disks you already own (but I am sure you can acquire them offline for free)

The owner of "too many" computers, called

The Lord of all Toasters (1920X 1080ti 32GB)

The Toasted Controller (i5 4670, R9 380, 24GB)

The Semi Portable Toastie machine (i7 3612QM (was an i3) intel HD 4000 16GB)'

Bread and Butter Pudding (i7 7700HQ, 1050ti, 16GB)

Pinoutbutter Sandwhich (raspberry pi 3 B)

The Portable Slice of Bread (N270, HAHAHA, 2GB)

Muffinator (C2D E6600, Geforce 8400, 6GB, 8X2TB HDD)

Toastbuster (WIP, should be cool)

loaf and let dough (A printer that doesn't print black ink)

The Cheese Toastie (C2D (of some sort), GTX 760, 3GB, win XP gaming machine)

The Toaster (C2D, intel HD, 4GB, 2X1TB NAS)

Matter of Loaf and death (some old shitty AMD laptop)

windybread (4X E5470, intel HD, 32GB ECC) (use coming soon, maybe)

And more, several more

i don't know why you would emulate GTA V when there's a PC version.

RPCS3 still has a long ways to go until it's a viable and stable emulator. not a problem with specs - simply getting games to run properly

PS3 emulation is more in a proof of concept kind of state right now, some PSN games are playable but none of the major titles. It will take both years of development and much more powerful hardware until you can properly play most on a PS3 Emulator.

The listed specs isn't going to emulate a PS3 very well.

Why not just buy a PS3 if you want to play your games? They're like $100 USD used.

EDIT: Oh, the location would have something to do with that.

This project is dead M.Yurizaki. Bosnia isn't a good country and I wanna move to Canada but I'm only 15. I am waiting to get parts for Hyperdream.

RPCS3 is more than a proof of concept, demon's souls and persona 5 are fully playable though not without some performance troubles.

Good to know they're making progress!

But what I meant is that it's still far from PSX or PS2 Emulation like we have today, where most games are playable.
