Brand New but "oldish rack" servers. WHAT CAN I DO WITH THEM TO MAKE MONEY

Hi Guys.

 

I'm new to the forum and I want some advice. I recently got hold of some Dell PowerEdge rack servers R620 & R730xd, and a few Hp's (haven't checked those specs as yet )and which have never been used or opened. I have been able to sell a few, but I wanna know what I can do with them for my self-hear in Jamaica.  Any workable ideas are welcome.

Selling them would probably yield the highest amount of profit to you if you've never used a server or workstation before.

sell them. THe 620 goes for about 600+ depending on specs and the 730 is about 1500+ depending on spec.

If you don't already know what a server/workstation is used for....... then nobody here is going to take the time to teach you every single thing that can be done with the machine.

get a book , take a class , learn video editing / cad / web hosting / networking.... something that might need a server.

this is like you asking us what can you do with a box of tools. learn something that requires tools.

You might want to keep one to use as a personal NAS/Plex server. 

 

Though I’d for sure sell all the best ones.
