1800X Temps too high with H115i. What's the issue?

Does your system lock up from benchmarking though? When fans are at 100%, pump at 100%? Mine does.

 

Does your CPU show 80C during benchmarking when fans and pump are at 100%? Mine does.

 

So at this point, the only logical problem is the cooler since it wasn't touched since it worked properly. Then if that fails, motherboard goes bye bye. CPU is soldered to the die so it's definitely not the CPU.

There's no reason the fans should be at 100% though. Corsair link tells you what the water temperature is. can you share that info with us? With a push pull quad 140mm solution, water temps ought to be quite fridged (low 30's, high 20's)

I have Sentry 3, I control the speed of the fans on the go. If I set them to 40%, it'd skyrocket to 90C in 10 seconds.

 

Also yes, one moment. Also don't forget, water temp doesn't mean colder CPU.

Water temps are climbing slowly. 4C in about 1.5min. 

Temp at the moment 35C water temp. CPU is getting warmer too. Fans at 100%, if I leave at 40%, the CPU goes to 80C in about 25 seconds.

 

Water temps continue to climb also.

 

I mean my GPU under load is like 42C when it's at 100% with 120mm radiator, and this is just not cool with the CPU.

 

EDIT. I also forgot to mention that idle temps are fine, around 35-40C with 40% fan speeds.

 

I also went through all the BIOSES, no change in temps, except for 1403 when at stock the CPU was only 50C at 100% load with 100% fans, so idk what's up.

Yea, everything comes down to the cooler I think. I asked on every forum and searched the web far and wide and I am the only one with temperatures issue.

Like i said, fans at 100% should keep that liquid temp well below 35C with the CPU idle, and the temp is measured at the cold plate. CPU temp should be slightly above water temp when the system is idle. Granted the case isn't the best airflow design in the world, but a push/pull setup shouldn't matter. at 100% fan speed, there is a buttload of air moving through the core.

I'd say case has excellent airflow, it's just this being an ass.
