Where do bad folks go when they die?
They don't go to heaven where the angels fly
They go to the lake of fire and fry, Won't see them again 'till the fourth of July

There isn't anything special to be done.

Don't need to unplug anything.

Assuming it's Windows 7, tap F12 on boot, Go into Win7 install usb/disc.

Blah blah. Install now.

Find your SSD on the HDD listing.

Hit install.

Install it, install drivers.

Enjoy your SSD

Not really..

Option #1 - Press F12 and boot to CD.

Option #2 - Press F2/Del and go into the Bios. Set the SSD as the boot drive. Set the other HDD as secondary boot. While you're at it, set the CD drive as main boot to just boot to CD to install Windows :)
