Best 1080p 144+hz Gaming Monitor (24inch, GSync)

Deadlyinx

Straight up just wanna know what the best option is because I can't find a clear answer.

144 or more hz, gsync, 24inch and 1ms response time. Color accuracy / stand adjustability / all the other factors im clueless on, any recommendations welcome, just want a solid monitor for games but not too much over $400 unless there's a real reason to. thanks for any help

There are some 240hz for 500, or the Asus PG248q, 420-450 USD, 180hz, G-sync 1ms, colour isnt calibrated, but shouldnt be too bad or hard to do. (I have an mg248q) stand is nice.

Honestly I have a $700 1440p G sync monitor 144hz, I wouldn't know the difference, I haven't got the chance to try other monitors for gaming. I say if you are in the US and especially if you are a Prime user you should give it a try and send it back if you don't like it.

edit: also depends on your system and the games you play.

For those games I do not think G-sync is worth the premium.

If that's in the US you can get a 1440p 144hz IPS Free-sync display for around $400

If you don't want to spend all of your budget get a $200 free-sync version of a g-sync display, as g-sync is a waste of money

yeah but i think the point was that if you arent interested or see it as having good value then you can get a freesync editon of the monitor so you arent paying a premium for a feature you might not appreciate.

The monitor will work fine with your GPU, you can just use Fast-Sync instead of adaptive sync so long as you stay above your monitor's refresh rate.

Do you even notice screen tearing currently?

And on a 144hz display in general screen tearing is less noticeable.
