Nvidia GT 1030 vs GTX 750 Ti

Hello I'll buy a new GPU for my PC and i have two options:1.GT 1030 (which is around $20-25 more expensive than the used 750ti); 2. GTX 750ti (i'll buy it from my friend for cheaper than the gt 1030). Which will be better for gaming? I know that they are somewhat equal to performance. Also will Nvidia support gtx 750ti for long time because i don't want to change the gpu one year after i bought it. I want to use it for le'ts say 2 or more years.

Yeaa but what about driver support? I don't want to wake up one day and to read that nvidia will not support anymore 700 series.

technically even the GTX 400 series is still supported.

the 750ti is roughly 20% faster, so if power is not your concern get it, but if power is the 1030 is 30W and the 750ti is 60W so it again isn't much but the 1030 does consume less power (but in most cases it id negligible)

Nah Nvidia is still going to support the 700 series card for quite a while

The power is not a issue i have somewhat good PSU: Corsair VS450 and im running right now with the integrated gpu in the pentium g4600

Well then GTX 750 Ti for $65 is worth it right? Gt 1030 is around $90

then go 750ti then, yea there is some cases where you do but to be honest they are normally cause by stupid self enforced things

I think we all agree that the GTX 750Ti is the way to go. You might want to consider the warranty because your 750ti is a used one

The 750ti as long as it's not from a dodgy source will probably be fine

My friend's pc is two year's old and there is one more year for the warranty. We agreed if something happens to the card he will take it to the service.

The 750ti performs an almost negligible amount better (idk where the oak above me got 20%...) I’d buy the 750ti just because it’s cheaper

Also just to point out that GTX 750ti is a maxwell architecture based GPU, not KEPLER like all the other 700 series cards...so it does have good performance and good drivers.

So all votes goes for the 750ti. Right. But I'm not missing some features in the new pascal architecture cards right? Like idk something new in the geforce experience.

The only big difference is only in the manufacture process (28nm vs 16nm). Otherwise, nothing new

You're going for a very budget card, you're not going to get everything you want, get the 750ti for the best performance. Neither of those cards will last you 2 or more years like you said you want unless you're okay with 30fps though.

I'm not a guy who wants to max out every game with solid 60 or more fps.I can play on every settings possible if it's more than 30 fps. So i think gtx 750 ti will run any game from 2019 or 2020 with 720p 30 fps.

With only 2gb of vid ram I cant promise thatll be the case. Im just saying dont be surprised if you have to upgrade in a year or two.

In the future (it depends), you will need to upgrade the 750Ti for sure. We're just saying that for now, this is a really good card for your price.
