Not sure why it's not properly showing the largest apps if they're on the 120GB SSD, but you could try downloading WinDirStat and see if that shows it properly.

Asus X99-A w/ BIOS 3402 | Intel i7 5820k OC @4.4GHz 1.28V w/ Noctua NH-U14S | 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 OC @2666MHz 12-14-14-28 | Asus Geforce GTX970 STRIX OC | EVGA 750 G2 750W | Samsung 850 Evo 1 TB | Windows 10 64-bit | Be-Quiet Silent Base 800 w/ Silent Wings | 2x Dell U2414H OC @72Hz w/ Display Port

Don't forget to invest in an Intel Tuning Plan if you're going to overvolt your K/X CPU

i have found out that most of the storage is being taken up by the user folder, what can i delete out of the user folder?

As said above, you're better off using a 3rd party software that sniffs what is taking the space on your drive. WinDirStat is a good one, or TreeSize could also be used.

The User folder contains all your personal folders (documents, pictures etc), but also the downloads folder. Maybe it's time to clear that out? :)

Click on that   +  to the left of the Users  in WinDirStat  and it will show you how much each folder inside Users is taking up, and then click on the + on those folders ...

You should also be able to see directly in the picture below under the folder tree, if it's not enabled by default, make it show by clicking on "Show treemap" in the Treemap menu (or press F9 inside the app).

You can click there on the biggest squares or rectangles and the app will go in the folder list directly to the file which that area represents. So you see one big area, click on it, that's one file or folder which uses a lot of disk space.

I am in a similar situation to you and my solution was to change default app installations to a different drive while installing programs, change windows paths for recycle bin windows apps and on chrome or whatever browser and change the downloads path. Lastly uninstall other windows programs on the start menu for maximum space saving on your boot ssd

Maybe something's cool down here?

If you need to know what's taking up space, use a program such as Space Sniffer:

http://www.uderzo.it/main_products/space_sniffer/download.html

It will scan the SSD (or any disk you tell it to scan), and will tell you what actual files and folders are on the drive and how much space they take up. It does this through an incredibly to read GUI, it's all graphical (though you can generate reports, etc).

For Sale: Meraki Bundle
