Does Alienware AW2518HF 240hz(freesync) work with a 1080ti?

I just want to know if that monitor can do 240hz with Nvidia cards. I don't need freesync I'm from Mexico so I have limited options.

yes, freesync is just to reduce screen tearing with an adaptive refresh rate. the monitor will still go to 240hz

It'll work fine, but you should 100% sell that 1080ti for like $1000 while you can

Thanks. Why are they so expensive right now, like I saw everyone saying microcenter was garbage for asking $1600 for it
