Help! OnePlus 5T - I have a question..

MrGarlicBreadLord
Go to solution Solved by MrGarlicBreadLord,

Thanks everyone for answering! It really helped.

I have gotten my answer. Thanks again, people of the internet!

So, I am planning on getting the OnePlus 5T as my next smartphone, and I really like the Sandstone White variation, so I would like to get that. For some reason, on OnePlus' website, there is no option to select a certain color, and I am confused. Are they sold out? If they are, why wouldn't they indicate that they are? I am really confused, and I would love if someone actually answered this. Thanks!

By the way my current phone is the iPhone 6s  Space Grey/Gray.

So why not go to their website and ask them?  Straight from the horses mouth so-2-speak.  You would have a better chance of getting a correct answer from the people there.

After their credit card breach, I'd actually buy off a carrier site or Amazon or something. I don't feel comfortable with a company that saves your credit information

The sellers on Amazon price gouge the phones though. You could always use Plastiq or PayPal.

Many sites do this. You can use Paypal like I did and not have that issue however. Most of the third party sellers on Amazon are ass holes who over inflate prices. NES and SNES classics anyone? Last I seen they both are still over $100.

Also these breaches are pretty common now days. It could happen to anyone including Amazon, who also stores credit card data and does not use paypal. And brick and mortar stores are not safer. Ive had my card details stolen from Meijer before. Regardless its going to happen. Its just about when.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

They had a credit card breach recently and they're working on fixing their security.

I'd recommend purchasing a 5T on Amazon if the price is similar to MSRP.

I have to warn you that the Sandstone White version is only available in the 8GB RAM/128GB Storage capacity configuration and thus will be more expensive than the normal black one.

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.
