How low can you go..

This is just a brag topic,  I measured my sub for the bass thread in the home theatre sub forum and was quite impressed with the response so I thought I brag about it here.

Measured @ 1 metre, measurement was a sine wave sweep from 20Hz to 200Hz, Amp set to reference 75dB.  Clearly I need to calibrate either the amp or the mic. But you get the gist.

No no no no,  it is not so much about loud (although I can probably do that when I tweak it up a bit) it is about the response and how it low it measures, the green line is my sub measured in situ. the blue line is the target response curve,  I have no EQ or house curve on this so it is reproducing from below 20Hz to 100Hz without ghastly lulls or peaks.

No....

That recording is at 25% volume, i was talking about bass depth, but it may be hard to reproduce through a video due to mic, and the end users hardware, try using headphones when listening, i will pre-warn you though, the highs may hurt your ears as the speaker tweeters are horn type.

I do use headphones,  The only way to properly convey how low your sub goes is with a measurement mic, the mic on your phone could easily roll of at 40Hz. which means when You play back a 20Hz tone it could be reproduced at between 1/2 and 1/8 or more it's original SPL.

Exactly my point, but you can hear in some parts it hits really low, well at least with my headphones. :P
