I'm looking for a new case. I've currently got a fractal design define S. It's nice, it has filters, but I'm in college now and it's very difficult to transport on holidays. I'm looking for a preferably smaller ATX case. I'm not familiar with smaller cases, so I'm asking here.

I've got a full size GPU, 3x 2.5 inch SSDs and 1x 3.5inch HDD, and a corsair H110i (I think).

It would be great if it had a 5" bay so I could front mount VR stuff, but that's not a must.

Filters. I need filters. Unfiltered cases are the devil!

As for cosmetics I'm looking to spice up my build so I really don't care about how it looks, if a small case somehow gets a sexy glass panel or something going I'm all for it.

Please note: I'm not looking for a micro build, just a case that is more functional than my current and is easier to transport. I could take a case the exact same size if it has handles.

Look at the define r6 its close to what you got but with upgrades

It looks nice but it is essentially the same shape as my current case and I'm looking to get one that's more transportable, and a change to the style would be welcome after a year or two with the same thing sitting on my desk.

Probably a bit too heavy,

but a Mac Pro case modded to fit ATX boards. It has handles, and weighs in at about 18 tons of whale lard.

On a more serious note :

There are very few cases with handles, especially handles made to carry them around.

Just askin', there is no way in hell you would compromise a little and get a laptop? (I do not know your situation, this is a question not an recommendation!)

If you can afford an ITX motherboard for your current CPU then go for it and a TT Core V1, it isn't so expensive. Or if you can go for something more expensive but that keeps the style of what you got then a FD Define Nano S or a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ITX would be a good choice, maybe a NZXT Manta, but that one is bigger than the others. All of them should be easy to build in, but there are several guides on YouTube for each so don't worry.

You dont need to switch to an mITX board to get a smaller PC.

^ This guy onlyt has 1 2.5" drive, but other than that it fits every criteria including a 5.25" bay, 240mm RAD support, filtered intakes for the front and PSU, not glass side panel but acrylic, unique inverted with dual chamber layout...

If this doesnt suit your fancy, the Define C is basically the Define S but 4" shorter with a PSU basement.

Thanks for this recommendation, sadly my GPU is too big.

I may look into downsizing my mobo but that just sounds like a big pain in the butt as a uni student to sell my old one.
