Check for 120Hz

My new laptop has a 120Hz display but to me it looks no different to my 60Hz panel.

Is there a way I can check to see if it's actually running at 120Hz? In the display settings its set to 120Hz.

And in advance, I apologise for starting a war over whether you can see more than 1fps

The 120FPS definitely looks sharper than the 60FPS so I assume it is refreshing at 120Hz

This site detects what refresh rate your display is actually running at, so if it's showing a 120Hz band, that means it sees your display running at 120hz.
